breeding of young horses brood mares horse retirees regeneration of diseased horses

During pasture season the horses are split up into groups. Once a day we check each of the groups. Mineral licking stones exist on every pasture.

During stable Season we feed mineralized concentrated feed and finest hay of the valley of Trebel once a day. The horses can gormandize hay ab libitum in a canopied runout. The pen has three huge boxes, so that all horses can be split up into separate groups as well.
All groups go out into the paddock repeatedly a week or onto the pasture, depending on the weather situation.
We take care of the anthelmintic therapies, immunization and blacksmith.

Brood mares are taken care of in collaboration with the veterinarian clinic of Alt Sammit starting from insermination up to foaling.

Infrastructure

A vet is living directly at the farmyard and the next horse clinic is only 20km away.
The blacksmith is regularly at the farmyard as well.
